The Yorkshire and Humber Faiths Forum works closely with other organisations in the region in order to: secure representation with policy makers, influencers and lobbying organisations; work closely with funding agencies and to enhance the level and quality of faith engagement in many sectors of society. Key partners include:
Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber
The Government Office for Yorkshire and The Humber works with organisations across the Region to deliver Government policies and programmes and to contribute a regional perspective in their development. This includes transport, health, culture, education and the environment.
The Forum will work closely with Government Office on social inclusion development to provide intelligence on the positive and distinctive perspectives of faiths, enable a contribution to neighbourhood renewal and the support and development for faith involvement in all work.

Churches Regional Commission for Yorkshire and the Humber (CRC)
CRC aims to represent the churches at regional level; to raise the profile of faith; and to encourage churches to be partners in regeneration. Founded in 1998, CRC ensured that the Yorkshire and Humber Assembly included a faith voice and along with the Assembly, sought to find a
way for a diversity of faith voices to be heard at a regional level – not just Christian churches. This culminated in the creation of the Yorkshire and Humber Faiths Forum. Read more…
The Forum continues to work with CRC on common areas of concern such as inter-faith issues and religious literacy and training.
